Twenty-one years ago, Eat Natural had a simple idea: to take the best produce they could get hold of and make it into something truly delicious that also made them feel...well...good. No dodgy additives, no unpronounceable ingredients or preservatives, just a few nice things carefully combined. With armfuls of nuts, seeds and dried fruit from their local health food shop, they mixed and baked their first ever bar in the cramped kitchen of a small flat in Epping.

Eat Natural aren't rocket scientists, but both their co-founders did train to be engineers. That’s helped them build a unique way of working with the higgledy-piggledy, non-uniform shapes and sizes of their natural ingredients – the very best they can buy. Their Makery is unlike any factory there is; they designed it that way. Eat Natural are pleased to have the help of some snazzy machines to speed their fresh bars out of the door, but people will always be at the centre of everything they do.

A whole community has sprung up to help Eat Natural share their recipes beyond the end of the road. Everyone on the team has their say in how things are done. Eat Natural value their input, but also know it’s important for everyone who works with them to feel content and fulfilled in their everyday life. They know that if people feel happy with what they’re doing, and are rewarded for their contribution, then they’ll stay with Eat Natural. Like they said, it's not rocket science.

And as for Eat Natural's bars and cereals? Their principles are simple: they use the best, nicest ingredients, treat them with respect (they don’t like to mess about with things) and make sure the final product is the very best eating experience they can make.
