What is Bae HQ?

Bae HQ is the community for high-growth British Asian entrepreneurs, operators and investors. We’re on a mission to inspire, connect and scale our community.

What is a Founder’s Associate?

Be the right-hand person to our two cofounders to free up their time to work on growth.

You’ll be a generalist and have no two days the same with a wide range of tasks across all of our pillars. You’ll need to be adaptable to tackle our changing priorities and plug gaps in the team.

Progression internally could be operations leadership roles or leading other specific verticals.

Indicative Key Responsibilities

  • Community Management: Triage and prioritise our wide range of inbound communication. Actively engage with community to amplify impact.
  • Content & Assets: Support with maxmising effectiveness of our public facing content across our website and social media channels. Potential to appear in content. Support with key company documents and presentations.
  • Performance Monitoring: Drive standards and support in defining key success metrics, tracking / reporting on company progress on a weekly basis and holding team members accountable.
  • Event Management: Ensure events run smoothly by working with partners, talent and venues.
  • Project Management: Help to deliver exceptional experiences for our programs such as our student work and Mentorship/Internship programs. Identify opportunities for automation where possible.
  • Partnerships: Regularly communicate with our partners to ensure alignment and targets are met.
  • Investments: Providing support on due diligence of investment transactions

What we’re looking for:

  • Mission alignment - You’ll need to care about why we do what we do and act accordingly.
  • Relentless resourcefulness - You’ll constantly be taking on new tasks which you don’t have experience in and need to deliver. You’ll need to think from first principles and quickly learn new skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills - You’ll be dealing with a huge number of people at different levels and will need to communicate appropriately and empathetically.
  • Strong organisational abilities - You’ll help build and manage effective processes and systems which form the foundation for future scale.
  • Effective time management - You’ll need to deal with competing priorities and allocate your time according to strategic goals of the founders.
  • Proactive standard-raising - You’ll take the initiative to spot areas we could improve and act swiftly upon them.
  • Resilience & adaptable - You’ll be dealing with uncertainty and be with us through pivots. You’ll need to be comfortable in this tenacious environment.
  • Integrity & accountability - You’ll need to act with strong morals at all times and own up to any mistakes.

Requirements:

  • Be legally allowed to work in the UK.
  • You DON’T need to have been to university.
  • 3-month paid probation period before becoming full-time employee.
  • Able to come to office for 5 days a week in Liverpool St. (Flexibility post-probation)
