Ajit Barik is the founder of Wyzr Fintech Limited, a fintech company he has led since December 2020. Based in London, he focuses on product road mapping, UI/UX design, and other strategic areas. Prior to founding Wyzr Fintech, Barik spent a year at Deutsche Bank from January 2019 to January 2020, working on structured interest rates and equity derivative products.

His extensive career at Deutsche Bank spans over nine years, from March 2008 to June 2017. During this period, he held multiple roles, including Trader (Fund Derivatives) where he co-managed a multi-billion EUR trading book of derivatives and structured products. His responsibilities included trading, risk management, business development, and innovation through data-driven research and risk analytics. He also handled the end-to-end structuring of mutual and hedge fund-linked products, involving origination, R&D, pricing, backtesting, and investment due diligence.

Before Deutsche Bank, Barik was a Risk Analyst at Morgan Stanley from April 2007 to March 2008, producing risk analytics for hedge portfolios. He began his professional journey as a Developer at SS&C GlobeOp from 2003 to 2005, enhancing hedge fund portfolio risk analysis systems on the SAS platform in a UNIX environment.
