Harjas Singh is a seasoned technology and product leader with extensive experience in the fintech industry. He currently serves as a Member of the Board of Advisors for Virginia Tech's Department of Computer Science (since October 2023) and as the Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer at Shares, a London-based social investment platform. Since November 2021, Harjas has been instrumental in building Shares, which raised $40 million in Series A funding to support its innovative social investment app.

Before Shares, Harjas worked at Revolut, where he led the Analytics & Core teams for the Global Wealth & Trading product from 2019 to 2021. He managed cross-functional teams and was responsible for key performance indicators, roadmaps, and feature delivery across stocks, crypto, and commodities. Prior to that, he spent over four years at Deutsche Bank in various roles, including Technical Product Manager and Software Development Engineer, working on global equity derivatives.

Harjas has a strong technical background, with experience in software development across technologies such as Angular, ReactJS, NodeJS, and Java. He also gained early experience as a Software Developer Intern at NetApp and a Research Assistant at Virginia Tech.
