Lara Naqushbandi

Lara Naqushbandi Co-Founder and CEO Of ETFuels, unleash the full potential of renewable energy at scale, by transforming how energy is produced and distributed, and ultimately how fuels are created and consumed.

She began her career as a Financial Analyst at Goldman Sachs from September 2002 to June 2005.

Following this, she pursued an MBA at Harvard Business School, graduating in 2007.

Lara then transitioned to the role of Senior Investment Associate at Climate Change Capital, where she worked from June 2007 to December 2009.

She served as the Chief Financial Officer for the Commercial and Marine Group at Rio Tinto from April 2011 to May 2019.

Lara spent 3 years and 5 months at Google, assuming various roles including Finance Director for the UK & Ireland, Executive Sponsor for Sustainability in the UK, and Director of Lifestyle Retail.

She became the CEO of ETFuels in October 2022, a position she currently holds.

Lara also serves as a Senior Advisor at OrbeNovo Capital since September 2023 and holds a part-time Non-Executive Director role at Molten Ventures (previously Draper Esprit) since the same date.
