Nadeem Sarwar

Nadeem Sarwar is the Founder and CEO of Phlo, a digital pharmacy delivering NHS and private prescriptions using real-time, same-day delivery. Established in October 2019, Phlo offers cutting-edge technology to provide patients with on-demand delivery of their prescriptions and API-powered services through Phlo Connect. Sarwar also serves as the Managing Director of Universal Pharmacy since October 2015, the largest independent provider of pharmacy services for care homes in Norfolk, UK, servicing over 8,000 patients monthly.

Prior to these roles, Sarwar held leadership positions including Director at Glasgow Chamber of Commerce (2015-2016) and Chairman of JCI Glasgow (2012-2016), supporting young professionals and entrepreneurs. He completed the Saltire Fellowship at Babson College (2014-2015), gaining entrepreneurial leadership skills.

Sarwar’s earlier career includes roles at HSBC, where he was International Commercial Director (2012-2014) and Senior Commercial Manager (2011-2012). At RBS, he managed international trade finance solutions and commercial banking portfolios (2008-2010), and served as Portfolio Manager (2008). His extensive experience in banking and finance has equipped him with expertise in international trade, financial solutions, and business development, contributing to his successful ventures in digital and distance selling pharmacy services.
