Shilpika Gautam

Shilpika Gautam is a dynamic leader in the climate and financial sectors, currently serving as the Founder and CEO of Opna since February 2022. Opna focuses on unlocking capital for high-quality climate projects aimed at addressing climate change with speed, scale, and equity. Shilpika's expertise spans climate change mitigation, financial markets, product development, leadership, and public speaking.

In addition to her role at Opna, Shilpika has been a Founding Fellow at On Deck Climate Tech since March 2021, where she supports initiatives to tackle climate change through technology. Prior to this, she served as the Vice President of Strategic Partnerships and Sales at Elucidate from September 2020 to October 2021, helping to combat financial crime by leading strategic partnerships.

Previously, Shilpika founded Earth Positive Collective, a consulting and advocacy venture to promote equitable futures, and served as Head of Sales for Commodities Investor Products & Risk Premia at Deutsche Bank from August 2017 to December 2018. Her diverse experience also includes roles such as Director of Sales at CIBC and various strategic positions at Tata Consultancy Services and other organizations, showcasing her versatile skill set and commitment to impactful change in both environmental and financial sectors.
