Tala Hasan

Talal Hasan, Founder & CEO of 44.01, has led the company since July 2020, focusing on making CO2 mineralisation feasible, accessible, and scalable. Concurrently, he co-founded Wakud in May 2020, building biofuel ecosystems in Muscat, Oman. Previously, Talal was a Senior Investment Manager at IDO Investments from January 2017 to June 2020, where he helped launch a $130M technology investment vehicle for the Omani government, investing globally in sectors like energy and healthcare.

He also served on the boards of various companies, including iNNOVATEQ, Locum's Nest, and Voltea. Earlier roles include an Associate position at OQ, Commercial Director at Al Barij International LLC, and Co-Founder of Bikum Discount. He also has experience as a corporate lawyer with Gateley PLC and as a founder of the property management platform, Talmuk.
