Wes Rashid

Wes Rashid is the Co-Founder and CEO of Accountancy Cloud, where he has led the company for over 10 years, driving innovation in cloud-based accounting solutions for startups and SMEs. Under his leadership, Accountancy Cloud won the UK’s Medium Firm of the Year award in 2021, outperforming stiff competition. His work has been recognized by Forbes, highlighting how fintech startups like Accountancy Cloud are helping SMEs manage cash flow effectively. Wes has also played a key role in sourcing talent for London’s Barclays Accelerator, powered by Techstars, expanding the program’s reach while reducing its carbon footprint.

Prior to founding Accountancy Cloud, Wes held leadership roles in finance and consulting. He was Global Transformation Finance Director at Diageo and Managing Director at Incisive London. Earlier in his career, he gained extensive experience in finance management at Accenture, State Street, and Grant Thornton. Additionally, Wes served as a mentor at Startup Direct for 9 years, advising tech startup founders and entrepreneurs across various industries. His diverse background and expertise continue to position him as a prominent leader in fintech and business advisory.
