Chamat Arambewela

Chamat Arambewela is the Co-Founder and COO of WealthOS, a role he has held since October 2019. Based in Colombo, Sri Lanka, he oversees operations and strategic initiatives to drive growth and innovation in the financial technology sector. Prior to this, Chamat was the Head of Market Data Business Analysis at LCH in London, where he centralized and distributed market data across LCH clearing services from July 2018 to October 2019.

Before his tenure at LCH, Chamat spent over 12 years at LSEG Technology, where he held various roles, including Business Architect, Senior Consultant, and Consultant. During this time, he played a significant role in developing and implementing MillenniumIT technology solutions for multiple trading venues, ensuring compliance with MiFID II, and engaging with key market data vendors. He also led teams in delivering complex multi-asset class trading systems and managed business analysis units to optimize processes and support product evolution. Chamat's extensive experience in financial technology and market data analysis has made him a key figure in the industry, contributing to significant advancements and efficiency improvements in the organizations he has served.
