Deepti Patankar

Deepti Patankar is a seasoned legal and business professional with extensive experience in both the corporate and startup sectors. Currently a Senior Associate at Taylor Wessing in London, she has been with the firm since 2021, contributing her expertise in high-stakes legal matters.

Previously, she co-founded Hostmaker, a rapidly growing property management platform that operated across six European countries, raised over $45 million in funding, and supported over 5,000 properties. As Head of Legal at Hostmaker, Deepti led international expansions, managed funding rounds, and set up comprehensive legal frameworks, including contracts and compliance policies. Her role also extended to leading sales, customer success, and product teams, demonstrating her versatility and leadership across multiple domains.

Deepti's early career includes seven years at Linklaters, where she gained expertise in financing transactions, asset finance, and complex cross-border restructuring, working with major UK corporates and advising on international deals from Linklaters' offices in Singapore, Moscow, and Dubai. Additionally, she spent a period on secondment with BNP Paribas, advising on mainstream lending transactions, further strengthening her experience in financial services.
