Karen Zhang

Karen Zhang is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in the technology sector, particularly within Google Cloud, where she has held multiple roles over the past eight years. Currently, she is the Fintech Lead for the UK and Ireland, where she has been instrumental in managing venture capital partnerships and supporting organizations in their digital transformation efforts. Her previous roles include Account Executive and Field Sales Lead, where she focused on helping organizations adopt innovative technologies and scalable solutions across various industries.

Beyond her core responsibilities at Google, Karen has demonstrated a strong commitment to empowering women in the workplace. She co-led the Women@Google Community Pillar and Connected Women Australia, initiatives aimed at developing and retaining female talent through leadership and learning opportunities. Her efforts included organizing workshops, panel events, and networking opportunities to support women's professional growth and advocate for diversity and inclusion in the tech industry.

In addition to her professional achievements, Karen has actively contributed to the community through her involvement with the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) and Table Tennis Australia.
