Kim Zou is the CEO and Co-Founder of Sightline Climate (formerly CTVC), a market intelligence platform dedicated to providing clarity in the emerging climate economy. Built upon the widely recognized CTVC newsletter, Sightline Climate offers subscription-based intelligence products that equip investors, corporations, and governments with data, tools, and frameworks to finance and develop climate-focused initiatives. Under her leadership, CTVC has grown into an industry-leading publication with over 60,000 subscribers, shaping conversations in climate tech and sustainability.
Before founding Sightline Climate, Zou was an investor at Energy Impact Partners, a $3 billion venture capital firm specializing in energy sector innovation. She also worked in investment banking at J.P. Morgan, focusing on technology mergers and acquisitions. Earlier in her career, she co-founded Jobbard, an online platform connecting students with part-time jobs, and served as Managing Partner at A-Level Capital, a venture capital firm supporting Johns Hopkins-affiliated startups. Her extensive background in finance, venture capital, and climate intelligence positions her as a key figure in the intersection of technology, investment, and sustainability.
