Rajarshi Banerjee
Rajarshi Banerjee is the CEO of Perspectum Ltd, a position he has held since 2013. Perspectum Ltd is focused on developing cost-effective, non-invasive liver imaging software for patients and clinical trials. Under his leadership, the company has made significant advancements in liver disease diagnostics.
Prior to his role at Perspectum, Rajarshi served as a Consultant Interface Physician at Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust from January 2014 to February 2016, where he provided integrated clinical care in Emergency Multidisciplinary Units in Oxfordshire. He also worked as a Specialist Registrar in Cardiology and Internal Medicine at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust from January 2009 to July 2013. During this period, he was also a Research Fellow at the University of Oxford (2008-2012), where he developed new MR techniques for the quantitative diagnosis of liver disease and studied the effects of excess weight on the heart and liver.
Earlier in his career, Rajarshi was a Specialist Registrar in Cardiology and Internal Medicine at the NHS London Deanery from February 2007 to October 2008, and a Senior House Officer at Whipps Cross University Hospital NHS Trust from 2004 to 2006. His extensive background in cardiology and internal medicine, combined with his research experience, has positioned him as a leader in the field of medical imaging and liver disease diagnostics.
