Lead backend engineer

As the lead backend engineer, you will take overall responsibility for our system architecture and backend services, and for building and managing the team that delivers them as we transition away from Softwire:

• Design, implement and maintain cloud-based backend systems
• Build and maintain systems deployment, monitoring and recovery processes
• Contribute to engineering standards, tooling, processes, and culture
• Recruit and manage backend and infrastructure engineers
• Lead in triaging and resolving production issues
• Gradually take ownership of the existing codebase
