He started his professional journey as an intern at Merrill Lynch from June 1994 to September 1994.
Following this, he took on the role of a Strategist at Sun Microsystems, serving from February 1997 to August 1998.
He joined Microsoft, initially as a Product Manager and later transitioned into the position of Platform Planner, a role he held from 2002 to 2005.
His pursuit of further education led him to London Business School, where he pursued an MBA degree from September 2005 to June 2007.
In parallel with his MBA studies, Hussein worked as a Venture Consultant at Accel, maintaining this role from October 2005 to June 2007.
Following the completion of his MBA, he continued at Accel, working as an Associate from June 2007 to August 2009.
In recent years, Hussein Kanji has been actively engaged as a Board Observer for Karakuri since April 2019.
Additionally, he assumed the role of Board Observer for Behavox in February 2020.
He co-founded Hoxton Ventures in November 2013 and has maintained his position as a Founding Partner up to the present day.
